I've long been an Olivier Giroud fan. I think he gets so much stick from Arsenal, French and general fans to the point its overkill. He's a good striker but tends to biff some easy chances, I won't deny that. I think Arsenal should be in for a top-rate striker this summer which would mean Giroud remains a super-sub, but that may be his best role at this point in his career and how Arsenal will line up next season. But he bangs in a good amount goals no matter what every season, and thats so valuable.
Last thing, what makes the goal even better are the reactions of the goalie and Antoine Griezmann.
Goalie just falls over like he got shot, and then Grizi calling for a cross while Oli plays up a ball to himself, before use putting his hands behind his head in disbelief as the ball swerves into the back of the net. Perfect.
