Source-Tomas Rosicky’s return from injury last Saturday was greeted with huge cheers from the Emirates crowd – as were his first touches of the ball.
Unfortunately, the Czech international felt his
thigh strain after just a few minutes on the pitch, and the latest setback
could see him spend at least a month on the sidelines.
Arsene Wenger has revealed that the 35 year old
has been rocked by yet another injury problem, and coming in the twilight of
his Arsenal career, it may affect his chances of playing for the club again.
Tough to hear about. Rosicky has been a fan
favorite and has shown moments of brilliance for Arsenal between injuries. He's
just been unlucky with setbacks in his recoveries. Coming on in your
long-waited return and re-injuring yourself moments after stepping on the field
sucks. I'm seriously bummed for him, as he's been loyal through and
through.
I mean look at this: “He said ‘I stayed on
because you couldn’t change anymore’.”
Gut wrenching. He didn't want to be
subbed off so Wenger could save his subs in case he needed to make a tactical
switch. What goddamn warrior Little Mozart is. Here's hoping he can
get fit and return. Let's win the League (and FA Cup, and h for the hell
of it, the Champions League, we're getting the Treble!) for Rosicky.
